Nazarene Border Initiative (NBI) is alway looking to connect Nazarene Missions Teams (formally Work and Witness teams) with needs and special projects on the border.
There are numerous opportunities to serve along the U.S. border, working with both English- and Spanish-speaking ministries in various cities. Through the Nazarene Border Initiative, teams can engage in meaningful projects that support local churches and communities.
Teams will stay at NBI’s Wenda House, which accommodates up to 60 people and offers the flexibility of a fully equipped commercial kitchen or the option to hire a cook.
Service opportunities include:
• Construction Projects – Assist in building and renovation efforts for NBI facilities or local churches.
• Community Outreach – Partner with local churches to serve and support their communities.
• Children’s Ministry – Bring hope and joy to some of El Paso’s most vulnerable children.
• Medical Missions – Provide essential care alongside healthcare teams in border communities.
Each ministry experience is customized to fit your team’s strengths and goals. Whether through hands-on labor, compassionate outreach, or medical service, your team can make a lasting impact in the border region.
Below are some of the current needs for projects, please prayerfully consider where you and your church can make a difference.
